Record Store Day 2025 at Gramaphone

Record Store Day, established in 2007, is an annual event celebrating the culture of independently owned record stores. Held on the third Saturday of April, it unites enthusiasts, artists, and retailers to honor the enduring appeal of vinyl records.Here at Gramaphone Records, we recognize the significance of this day in highlighting the vital role that vinyl records and independent record stores play in the music industry.

Founded in 1969, Gramaphone Records has been a cornerstone of Chicago's music scene, particularly influential in the development and dissemination of electronic music since the early 1980s.
