XELTA - B.D.S.M.

Bézier’s Body Tension label (aka Körperspannung records) enters its second year with a fifth catalog release ‘B.D.S.M.’, the debut recording project from XELTA — a collaboration between New York producer and composer Bruno Coviello, known for his Bliscord project and DJ, tastemaker and radio host of Mechanical Breakdown on KEXP Sharlese Metcalf.

The EP ‘B.D.S.M.’ is five tracks of precision-engineered industrial, EBM, and darkwave. The music carries the body-first sensations of Front 242 and Nitzer Ebb — pulse-driven, commanding, relentless — but filtered through something distinctly femme: a leather-gloved hand on the frequency dial. Think the dancefloor of a Chicago Medusa night, 1987. Think ritual. Think consent as choreography.
